Hi, I'm the developer/designer behind Polycon. The wallpapers in the Play Store listing was generated with an application called, Tapet. It's free and it's really neat.
Tapet - Play Store
I love Tapet It is an App that generates material-like wallpapers and if you like/dislike a wallpaper the app will keep that in mind for future wallpapers, so if there is a color scheme or design you don't like, it wont be generating them anymore
Also, KLWP is absolutely awesome, if you like to customize your homescreen. The only limit there is, is your imagination. check out /r/androidthemes to get a glimpse at what you can do! (Many of the themes there are made with KLWP)
I am only guessing, but this might be something that got generated by Tapet. I've been using it for a while, and it's very nice.
Most of the time, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. So, I use Tapet. It generates random, simple, material design wallpapers. All I have to do is pick the one that I like best. Saves me a lot of headaches.
i been using Tapet and i have a really hard time settling on something to replace it.
Really nice pattens and color combinations and you can set it to cycle through random design combinations of your liking as well.
Tapet. It has a lot of cool wallpapers and will cycle them as often as you like. Anymore I just have it cycle through a folder of cool AMOLED wallpapers I downloaded.
Traditionally I use whatever wallpaper is defaulted on the phone for at least 24 hours. I have been really enjoying Tapet for my wallpapers lately. I set it to change every 24 hours so every day I get a new design!
I use the clockwise and counterclockwise gestures to generate a new Tapet wallpaper, and to 'like' the wallpaper so it knows what I like seeing (it has some AI to generate preferred designs).
Personally, I just use Tapet for my wallpapers. It generates them automatically, and can randomly switch them out for new ones. It's really good if you like minimal wallpapers.
EDIT: You can even export the generated wallpapers to higher resolutions and use them for your PC. I appreciate a minimal aesthetic, so this app is just perfect for me.
Not technically a wallpaper, but Tapet generates random material design wallpapers. That's what I've been using for the last few days, and it's awesome.
I've only ever tried out the live wallpapers. I never leave them on, I just don't have my phone unlocked enough to need that.
I use Tapet. It generates procedural wallpapers at intervals you determine. I live the minimal and flat UI design of many of them. Some are way off, but you can easily generate another one.
There's an android app called Tapet which automatically generates low poly bakgrounds (and other kinds of bakgrounds) and changes your mobile bakground.
I recently started using Tapet, which creates random geometric patterns and learns your preferences in terms of pattern schemes and color schemes. Love it!
It's from Tapet. It automatically generates wallpapers by using an algorithm from different patterns and color combinations. I have it and love it!
Tapet is a wallpaper generator, which you can choose color palettes and textures. You can come up with very cool and unique wallpapers.
Try Tapet. [link]
It generates wallpapers based on different shapes/patterns and colors. Does all that locally on the phone, so no downloading like most wallpaper apps, and wallpapers should be in your native resolution.
Minimal Setup on my LG G2
Wallpaper is : awesome Tapet
Nova Launcher Prime.
Blisspop Lolipop Rom
The premium version of Tapet. It creates brand new wallpapers for your phone, and they automatically adjust to which ones you like. It's pretty great.
I've started using Tapet on all of my devices now to just automagically generate a new wallpaper every X hours. I find most of the wallpapers it generates to be amazing.
Generated in Tapet (was linked here in /r/android a while back)
I can't seem to find the file on the phone. Anyone know how to grab it?
It's actually an app called Tapet that changes your wallpaper every so often. It's actually great and some of the wallpapers are really cool. They're all amazing quality as well.
I have actually been thoroughly enjoying Tapet: [link]
It refreshes my wallpaper with a random pattern and color set every so often (you can set preferences if there's colors/patterns you don't like).
It is possible if those apps save their background to a certain location.
Then you can use this formula to change the background:
$tu(rndimg, 1, "/storage/emulated/0/pictures/Batman")$
Hope it works.
It worked very well for me with tapet. ([link])
I just got into using Tapet. It generates random wallpapers based on in built designs and colors you specify. 2.99 in app purchase unlocks all of the features. No ads(least as far as I've seen.) It's pretty nifty. Additionally I've used Nautilus in the past too. It's pretty nifty. Free but you can donate to get rid of the ads(they are relatively unobtrusive in my experience. )
I installed Tapet a month ago, and I love it. I get a different home screen every time, and they're all pretty good looking designs.
All of these were autogenerated by an Android app called Tapet! I'd highly recommend downloading it. It lets you export the wallpapers at any resolution. I accidentally uploaded a couple that are non-ultrawide resolutions though (whoops). Enjoy!
I used the app Tapet Google Play. It let's you select a folder on the device to select wallpaper from. Also, it generates wallpapers and you can set the interval.
Do you know how these were generated?
I have a 6-screen setup I'd love to get some decent backgrounds for.
Edit: Missed it right in the imgur link. [link]
The Nova grid is 7x5, the icon size is 90%. The dock has a width of 7 symbols and an icon size of 100%. The widget on top is a customized Flat Material Zooper widget and the weather and Google widget (also customized) from Iconium.
The wallpaper is generated via Tapet.
My favorite wallpaper app is Tapet. It creates geometric wallpapers based on your preferences. You can have it create a new wallpaper periodically, or just do it manually whenever you get bored with your current wallpaper.
Also, check out Evie Launcher. It's one of those things that if you like it, you'll love it, and you'll know within the first day of using it.
I use Tapet which is a very nice app. It automatically changes your background every few hours into a wallpaper it randomly generates that goes along with Google's material design. It's a very good app. You can also just cycle through until you find a good wallpaper and set it yourself.
Tapet can do this but if you want it to use your own wallpapers I believe you have to buy premium. I think it's $3. (Worth it imo).
You can set the wallpapers to change anywhere from every 15 minutes to once a day and everything in between.
I've actually started using Tapet. It cycles you wallpaper to randomly generated patterns based on pattern styles and color selections that you set.
on one phone i'm using Tapet
on my other 500 firepaper
The background changes every hour thanks to Tapet
My lockscreen is always the opening wall of The Good Place
I stumbled across Tapet this weekend, and it offers some neat customization features. It will randomly generate geometric designs, with a material-like style, but allows you to pick the frequency that colors and styles will appear.
It's lasted me a few days without uninstalling, which is unusual for me with these sort of apps.

Have an Android phone. I'm using an app called Tapet that generates wallpaper through a set of patterns & shit like that. I've set it to change the wallpaper every hour or so. I love it!

Tapet - The only time it saves is that since i have it, i never spent hours on the web finding a cool Wallpaper for my smartphone. This app just renders one for me on the spot with adjustable settings.
I like the variety of wallpapers it creates, so i ended up letting it generate a new wallpaper everyday, which is also an option.
Not a live wallpaper but I am a fan of Tapet.
Its like those material lwps but its not a live wallpaper so I would think it uses less battery. Also you can use it to create wallpapers fit specifically for your screen size. So you could even use it on your PC.
Tapet is what I use for wallpapers. It generates random wallpapers and you can set it to refresh your wallpaper automatically.
I use the Tapet app on my phone, and it cycles through a lot of different wallpapers, and you can try to customise what random backgrounds it puts up.
i use tapet no matter what phone. it generates wallpapers in svg format with random patterns/colours/themes and it's highly customizable. You even get free premium sets once in a while if you use it frequently.
it can also change wallpaper within intervals - good if stare at it long time and don't want burnins
My two favorites. Also, check out G+ like other mentioned.
I have an app that from time to time sets my wallpaper to some random colorful pattern. I can upvote/downvote them if I want to, and the app will consider my choices in next patterns.
I use Tapet to generate wallpapers and with feedback you can steer the app to what colors, etc you like. The Pro version lets you tweak even more. Highly recommended!
Tapet - This app creates wonderful random generated material wallpapers. You can set the interval, the colors, the patterns and alot more. You can also rate each wallpaper so it will change the wallpapers to your liking.
Sudoku AR Solver - With this app, you can point your camera at a sudoku, and the app will recognize it. The app will take a picture of the sudoku and will put the correct numbers in for you. It's actually quite amazing.
Textdroider DPI - With this app you can change the DPI of your screen, like how you can change the resolution on Windows. You will need root.
CF.Lumen - Definitely the best app for reading at night. It has a bunch of options, you can also set it so it will automatically turn on/off at x pm/am.
Found Tapet recently and I love it.
Here you go.
Randomly generated wallpapers with lots of customization
It looks a lot like the wallpapers generated by this:
This, generated by Tapet
Looks like a wallpaper made using Tapet.
Try this for generating your own (geometric) wallpapers: [link]
It's pretty great.
I use an app called Tapet. It generates a new material design style wallpaper every day.
It looks like a generated wallpaper from Tapet, it's a really neat material design wallpaper generator
This seems similar to Tapet, which I use. They do have minor differences though.
If he's gonna link to it, he could have said which app he used to make his wallpaper...

I use Tapet, not a live wallpaper, but it has the same features and it's free
I helped my friend find this a couple of weeks ago. This wallpaper was created using Tapet. The exact one that was created is also included in this review.
> The wallpaper featured in this review was generated by Tapet, and you can download it here.
I just found tapet today. It generates a wallpaper at random with a variety of patterns and colors. [link]
If you like minimalist mobile backgrounds I highly recommend Tapet.
Lenovo X1 Carbon 2nd gen (with the funky dynamic function keys) that I use as my workhorse for job and personal use. Docking station makes it really nice to get real work done with mutli-monitors and a das keyboard.
arch linux with XFCE/XFWM because i personally feel it's the perfect balance of "normal" floating WM but with some tiling aspects added (like corner tiling and window snapping). but that's just me.
GTK: FlatStudioDark with custom highlight color (#8C9440) (not including a link because I can't find a better one than from gnome-look.org)
WM theme: Numix (not including a link because everyone knows how to get numix)
Terminal & Vim colors: hybrid
wallpapers: auto-generated by Tapet on my android phone, and then the ones I like are saved to a folder and synced with ownCloud to my desktop. grab some here
I use this bad boy:
Set to change every hour. You can kind of teach it what styles you like.
I've been used Tapet for months. I love it. [link]

Looking for a nice Icon Pack to go with the landscape theme of my many wallpapers.
I cycle through them with Tapet and I feel the Pixel icon pack isn't quite right.

I may be wrong, but I believe this is a wallpaper variation you can acquire with Tapet.
I use Tapet, looks great.
I use tapet
It changes the wallpaper on the home screen and the lockscreen. BUT it doesn't use your own pictures.
I love TAPET
I use tapet to give me a new background every like 30 minutes.
Tapet is really great too! Been hooked since I found it.
I got it from this cool wallpaper app:
This is the one that I'm currently using:

Good luck op
I'm running tapet - it's a live wallpaper, but it generates static wallpapers when you want.

Tapet is great for generating minimalistic wallpapers with patterns and styles you want.
Here's the app: [link]
Keep on randomising until you get the pattern then change the colors to your liking
Used a Tapet background, Murdered Out Free Icon Pack and used ThemeX to strip them out. Since I have a LGV10 I had to use Pixel Widget to get the google bar.
Tapet - Geometric-ish wallpaper generator. Randomly creates wallpapers. Uses hardly any battery with no performance impact.
Calendar Widget - A good looking and customizable calendar widget.
Purchased Apps - Shows only the apps that you've purchased from the Play Store. No more slogging through an unfilterable mess of free applications that haven't been used in 5 years.
I've been using Tapet for well over a year and it's fantastic.

I use Tapet,

I prefer Tapet, love the generated wallpapers.
Tapet is great for generating a different pattern every time you switch on your phone:
"... app that automatically generates high-quality backgrounds."
Nova + Moonshine + Tapet = my phone.
This, procedurally generated with Tapet on Android.
Sure, it was generated by Tapet. Here's an upload.
Sorry, I don't. I use Tapet as a live wallpaper. It automatically generates random wallpapers.
Used Architect Linux as the base. Then just added XFCE as the DE.
ooor check out Tapet!
I use Tapet to generate a new wallpaper daily.
I use Tapet to generate a new wallpaper every time I unlock my phone.
Check out Tapet for wallpapers.
Here is the saved wallpaper.
I like the ones Tapet generates ...
Action launcher 3, Dash Clock Widget, Long Shadow icon pack, wallpaper generated with Tapet. I can't recommend that app highly enough, and with the pro version of action launcher, the interface colors are changed to match the colors of the wallpaper. Very nice.
Try tapet, it has more options and designs.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but I found this cool app for wallpapers: [link]
It makes randomly-created wallpapers for your phone.
