If you have a moment check out the episode of Stay Tuned when Preet hosted McFaul. Putin systematically harassed McFaul, had people follow him around, show up at his kids soccer game, break into his apartment and use the bathroom etc. Only safe places to have a conversation was the SCIFs at the embassy.
You know, a lot happened in April '92. I learned that from a sublime song.
Edit: to everyone asking which song
It has also come to my attention that many people born that year are redditors.
Guess the link is bad, try https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkoMXxN_p3Y
Edit: For people messaging me about who I am. I'm not Duke, I have my own Youtube channel. Someone was kind enough to link it below.
It can be a terrifying way to go by the sounds of it.
I listened to the SYSK podcast on Cave Diving and one way you're likely to die if inexperienced is through disorientation and/or panic.
In the often pitch black cave it can be easy to lose track of where you are, and apparently even to know what is up and down. As well as this there can also be times where a cloud of silt will be all around you in the water completely obscuring visibility. In these situations not only do you have to be trained to know what to do, but you have to overcome the entirely natural urge to panic.
Shit really is scary.
SUCCESS! > Jobel A: Hi Brian! I understand your issue about Drake's promotion. I can help check this for you. > > Brian: I thought a subscription implied an "ad-free" experience? > > Jobel A: Thank you for your feedback regarding your Browse section. Please note that what you're seeing are not ads but rather covers of Spotify curated-playlists with Drake as our featured artist in line with his new album, Scorpion. > > Rest assured that this won't affect your listening experience and your Browse section will return to normal very soon. > > Once again thank you for your continuous support for Spotify and our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. > > Brian: many of those playlists with drakes face on them don't even feature his songs > Brian: as for continuous support, Ill likely go back to google play if these shenanigans are how you do business > > Jobel A: I understand your frustration on this issue. As one time courtesy, I'll add a month of Premium to your account. > Jobel A: Please let me know if you'd like to proceed. > > Brian: thanks, hopefully this is a one time deal.. I like spotify but not drake lol > Brian: yes please > > Jobel A: I’ve gone ahead and added 1 month of Premium to your account. Enjoy! > > You can keep tabs on your subscription status and next billing date over at: https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/. > > Jobel A: Is there anything else I can help you with? > > Brian: nope thanks for your help > > Jobel A: Alright, take care Brian! > > Info: Thank you for chatting with us! There’s a fantastic episode of the podcast “Behind the Bastards” on him. I was particularly moved by the story of Rosemary Kennedy. Will give this a watch when I’m feeling more prepared for it.

And you get Hulu with your Spotify subscription for no extra cost
Edit: I should clarify that you get a Hulu subscription for no extra cost only if you already have a student discounted Spotify subscription. You have to sign up for this in a certain way and I think it's only available in the US
Edit 2: I think this is the link to sign up for the Hulu account. It's from September so it might not still work right
I'm listening live right now, and it sounds like they're having technical difficulties and just playing clips to stall. Hannity is probably having a breakdown.
EDIT: He went on and mentioned Cohen. He'll decide whether he'll put out a statement later on, for now he's playing clips of Comey. Man oh man, you can't write this shit up.
You're welcome:

EDIT: Since apparently it's a thing for everyone to say where they're from and I neglected to do so, I've lived in southern Virginia my entire life. However, my mother is from NYC and my father is from Bumfuck Nowhere, North Carolina, so I'd like to think that my accent is fairly neutral. Could be wrong, though.
If this isn't a case for Apple's version of Spotify Connect, don't know what is.
As it stands now, you can't use your iPhone's Music app to control Apple Music on Alexa devices, Google Home/Nest devices, and now PS5.
Tom Petty is another artist who is famous for legal progress on the behalf of artists in the industry. The article reminds me of "Won't Back Down - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers"

Try spotify premium for 99c for 3 months. I believe new customers only. But give it a try see which is best. Just remember to drop it before the 3 months is up if you don't want to renew.
Spot on about going somewhere with good music. When I hear DJs playing top 40 radio songs, it instantly ruins my experience. I might just be really pessimistic or elitist, but unless it's techno/tech house/minimal/deep I can't enjoy it or dance to it.
edit: currently tuning into Luciano's Ibiza set from a few days ago. I'll stay at clubs till day break if this is going down...
Been listening to It Could Happen Here podcast recently and was surprised to find how plausible I found the speaker's hypothesis, something that 3 years ago I'd have found to be fringe lunacy.
It's pretty endearing if you can get past the crying cause the mom does this twice, and at the end is like, "just take it..."
The podcast Behind The Bastards has a good episode on the Krassenstein twins and the scams they are involved in, if youre interested in a deeper dive into their background! Also good podcast all around.
its hard to assemble all the details as they flood in at one place without running afoul of personal information. But court records show she was charged with defamation by a former employer in 2000, she was charged with domestic violence in 2001. She received multiple personal / professional / dating reviews on MyLife- all timestamped and verified from years ago- that recount numerous people telling stories like "She'll send you to jail by lying like she did with me." (Jun 18, 2017), "she's a cheater and a thief and will sell her body to anyone to get what she wants." (May 5, 2016), ""She's a filthy whore you seeks out married men." (Aug 29, 2018)
You can listen to one of her neighbors and family friends describe her here:
Note that her neighbor makes large numbers of verifiable details about her family, street, jobs, etc that prove that he's not a bullshitter. He knew tons about her from growing up, and described her as a total nutcase
/spez: NEW INFORMATION:
>Ex-boyfriend filed restraining order against third Kavanaugh accuser
>According to Vinneccy, Swetnick threatened him after they broke up and even after he got married to his current wife and had a child.
>“Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time,” Vinneccy said in a telephone interview with POLITICO. "I know a lot about her.”
>"She’s not credible at all,” he said. “Not at all.”
i thought i might, especially from black republicans on-site, but the opposite was the case. they don't live in a total denial bubble and understand that the two percent black makeup of the GOP is terribly low. they were amused at the count, which made me feel good because it was a reminder that they're actual PEOPLE and not just distant ideas i dislike
best example of this was my interview with super black republican (super republican, not that he's more black than other black folk!) Paris Dennard
he ran african american outreach for George W Bush
I see "420 Blaze It Faggot!" a lot on reddit, for the first time I tried to say it out loud. I have an English accent and it just sounds so bad. So, so bad.
Edit: I couldn't help myself.
I looked up the terms and conditions but I didn't see anything about US only. This offer was shown and found on the Spotify US website, though.
can I post a soundcloud link?
this is just a freestyle any feedback will be welcome. lemme know if I should add/take away bars, could still use some work probably
Have we talked about how iheartradio reported this was a song with Charli XCX because of a /r/popheadscirclejerk post? I'm dying.

~~I really should have jumped on the $.99 for 3 months deal they had a couple days ago~~ It's still up, but to be completely honest I don't get out of the house enough to justify the $10/month that it becomes afterwards. Especially being a high school student, I'm really only listening to music on mobile to and from school. Otherwise I'm at my computer or listening to podcasts.
Ex-SM trainee ACE is from Kazakhstan. He is now part of Ninety One who are basically KPop but in the Kazakh language.
There's also that Russian girl that was part in a super nugu group last year.
Well just to piggyback on your comment, here's the Pandora station I like to use.
EDIT: For anyone who can't use the link for whatever reason, the station is Dragon Age: Origins. Sorry, I am a Grooveshark migrant and I'm not real slick with Pandora yet.
u/ascendingstorm this is fucking rad. I checked out your art station and your website per another commenter. Your art is just... awesome and really thought provoking. This is coming from someone who doesn't really like surrealist art. Love your expression, man.
P.s. I even checked out Sunnata's Zorya album because of your album cover work for them and now I'm hooked on that too.

FYI, If you've followed me for any length of time, read the descriptions of my videos, or listened to podcasts where I angrily denounce exactly the kind of payola crap you're talking about, "you can tell" that you're wrong.

TLDR no
Such an impressive version of the song for such a worthy cause. I'll do my part in bringing it to Dave's attention with this article going out to all iHeartRadio rock stations: https://www.iheart.com/content/2017-12-26-choirs-moving-foo-fighters-cover-will-give-you-chills/
I think if {Iowa State} comes out and plays like they did against West Virginia, they'll have a shot at winning this. Also, I would not be surprised if Matt Campbell pulls third-string QB Re-Al Mitchell out of his hat and unleashes him on the Longhorns. Should be a good game.
#DownWithLonghornNetwork
Extremely Late Edit: Here is a link to a stream of 100.3 FM, which in the Ames/Des Moines area is the radio station that broadcasts Iowa State football games. Obviously listening to a game is not the same as watching it, but if you want, you can do what I do for when I'm watching an Iowa State game on the computer, is mute the volume on the stream (be it Hulu or something from /r/CFBStreams), and then listen to the radio because 9.99/10 times Iowa State's radio announcers are way better than most of those talking heads on the national, or other extremely local^^Seriously, ^^Screw ^^LGHN networks. The only downside to this approach is that the radio is almost always 1 - 2 plays ahead of the stream/broadcast, so that can be kinda awkward but it's usually worth it.
Not a conspiracy theoriest, but this podcast did a great episode on the Prison Industrial Complex.
That beat sound A LOT like the one I made a few months ago...
Edit: And I sent that beat to Twelvey... I wonder what happened.
Edit 2: I figured it's probably coincidence because it's a popular sample... but I wonder if I influenced him to use that because of what I sent... we'll never know.
Here's a story about a 71-year-old guy who's lived in an iron lung for almost his whole life. Every time I even remotely question whether or not I should vaccinate my children, I just think about the idea of them spending 65 years trapped in a metal box and it snaps be back into shape.

Check out a podcast called "business wars" has multi part history on Nintendo vs Sony. It starts when this console.
The Family Plan is the best - 6 Premium accounts for $15 a month.
6 accounts for $15 or $10 for a single premium account can really add up the savings if more than 1 family member has spotify.
At this point the Republicans not speaking out against Trump on any issue is for self-preservation. They are only interested in keeping their job, not standing up for Republican "values." I highly recommend listening to Preet Baharara's interview with long time Republican strategist Steve Schmidt who recently left the party. It is fascinating.
I am not seeing this on my Neon systems, using the deb file as opposed to a snap or flatpak.
Probably just whatever source you are using is missing the relevant icon file. Not a distro or KDE issue, methinks.
>Howard's fiancee, Kara Box, captured the confrontation and shooting on her cell phone, and gave the footage to the television station.

I think he might be accidentally promoting a student bundle he signed up for. Spotify Premium isn't $5, Hulu and Showtime aren't included.
I pay 10 for Spotify and add an additional 3 for Hulu off of a promotion they had a couple months back. No Showtime.
They give a student discount. 50 percent off. If you still have your college email, now is the time to pull it out.
Edit: apparently only works if you're still enrolled.
Entroducing was a long time ago and his sound has changed significantly since. I would not go to a shadow show excepting a lot of stuff like it. His new show is called "all basses covered" and you can listen to the set he would've played that night on his soundcloud. I'm on my phone right now so I can't link to it but I will later if I remember.
Edit: https://soundcloud.com/djshadow/all-basses-covered-the
There is also a student discount (at least for US residents). Register for it to get spotify for 50% off for a year. link
If people are interested enough, I'll do a tutorial of making a song from scratch so you guys can see how I use the template.
edit- ill try to livestream tomo or so. ill post a link on this sub when its up and ill upload the vod to youtube.

Hating on Disco has some troubling roots. I know it's just a card, but here is a good podcast on it.
If you think just facial expressions are amazing, try tone of voice.
I cannot even describe how real the radio play Andrew was in. It's called Cock, and it is just amazing how much a few people can convince you. It's an hour long and about 2 gay men and a woman (did I just describe Sherlock?), but it's pretty worthwhile.
You may feel that you are owed a refund morally and based on your understanding of the terms & conditions you agreed to. I won't speak to the issue morally, but the terms & conditions you agreed to pretty explicitly state that Spotify can advertise to you, even as a premium user;
>7 Rights you grant us >>In consideration for the rights granted to you under the Agreements, you grant us the right... (2) to provide advertising and other information to you
Paying for premium does not exempt you from being advertised to, plain and simple.
Brett McMurphy is live on the Gottlieb show, "I think Urban Meyer is going to be fired over this."
Lynn Bruce hopping on here at 5:30pm est FYI. I have no idea why every party involved keeps talking at this point.

done. soundcloud is a gigantic piece of shit site and it's not loading for me but ill try mixcloud
edit:
They're injections of something other than harvested fat to make your butt bigger. It's illegal. One woman was arrested for putting fix a flat into people. A rapper Cardi B admits to getting illegal injections in someone's basement and feeling like she was about to die here. I know Bri got a legit BBL but she might have supplemented with shots.
Cody is awesome. I definitely recommend all of the videos on this channel and his election podcast called Worst Year Ever along with Robert Evans and Katy Stoll. He also frequently appears on Robert Evans' Behind the Bastards podcast.
I've heard that as well, and we know Kirk Douglas has been accused of at least one crime, one that is relevant to the discussion if it's true.
This WDVE radio bit, "Pittsburgh GPS" from Tom Musial, features this intersection prominently as "that crazy intersection up there by that Arby's, where you're going up a hill, under a railroad track, and you're making a left and a right at the same time." The directions in the bit also include landmarks that "used to be" there.
https://www.iheart.com/video/tom-musial-pittsburgh-gps-22055826
I believe the problem is simply due to you trying to share one account. What Spotify wants someone to do in your situation is have two separate accounts. And if you want to get the best deal, setup Premium Family.
Haven't lived in Albania in a long time but I'll give it a try.
The city glows tonight.
The neon lights are turning on.
Your face glows too,
as soon as we meet each other.
Laalalalaaa lalalalalaa (lol)
(repeat)
Here again.
The park glows,
for our meeting.
The time draws near.
Your beauty shines.
It is love that gives it life.
And when the moon looks at this glow.
It widens its eyes full of daze/wonder.
And starts to think to itself.
That the sun was born/has risen again.
So turn on the lights.
And light our park up.
Here every night,
we will come again.
We won't hide our love.
(repeat)
And when the moon looks at this glow.
It widens its eyes full of daze/wonder.
And starts to think to itself.
That the sun was born/has risen again.
So turn on the lights.
And light our park up.
Here every night,
we will come again.
We won't hide our love.
tl;dr stuff like this was pretty rebel back then.
edit: ~~no idea how to format this.~~ got it. :D
edit2: uploaded to soundcloud for downloading purposes (I hope this is okay.)
If you're a student, Spotify is 5$. I don't know if you are, but I'm letting you know because its a steal.
He runs a syndicated radio talk show out of Nashville. They mostly talk sports but also talk about pop culture stuff like game of thrones and politics. They also have this segment called "animal thunder dome" where they report on animal attacks every morning. Easily the best radio show in the country.

I want more house.
And Nu Disco. And Glitch Hop. And Happy Hardcore. And Bounce. And Trance. And Tristam's LP. And Tut Tut Child's EP. And Rezonate. And Rogue's LP. And more house. I want more
Tits is coming in at 8am, possibly 8:30 EST. In last night's video he said he'll show the Roland shitting video to Weaze live on the air. I'm not a fan of Roland, but he should sue the fuck out of Opie. The fact that he keeps scat videos on his phone is just... wow
He also said
>" Maybe I handed him ten bucks for attorney client privilege, whatever. But I never had any matter with him between him and any third party.
Ehh I get that but at the same time they're obviously catering to the le wrong generation crowd and have continually said that they were not inspired by led zeppelin. I think that's probably the worst part for me, like nobody cares that you want to be led zeppelin, but just fucking acknowledge that you are inspired by them.
We've actually done some tests on the algorithm in the past.
In reality, the algorithm is pretty good. The issue is how it responds to user input. Pretty much anything other than forward skipping will reset the shuffle so that you can hear the exact same songs that you just heard. Clicking onto another playlist, skipping backwards, or clicking any track on a currently playing playlist will all cause the shuffle to be reset. This should not be the case, and I suspect it's why there is such a discrepancy between Spotify's shuffle tests and user tests.
I would suggest that users write in their feedback on this issue and ask for the shuffle seed to remain persistent throughout these activities.
At the bottom: "create an account using your e-mail address". I think that should work for you, it's tiny text and isn't outlined at all, but it should be the way.
I'M SO EXCITED! You guys can download it for free off of soundcloud or buy it on beatport (if you think it's good/would like to contribute to my bacon fund). In all seriousness though, everyone in r/electrohouse is awesome. Thanks for leaving nice comments and being supportive of my music ever since I posted "Some Cheeze Its" on here like 10 months ago. Keep cheering on the little guys!
Steve Schmidt, one of McCain's campaign managers, talked about how they picked Palin with almost no vetting, a decision he claims he wasn't part of. In a recent interview with Preet Bahara, he mentions having a realization moment, something like "Holy shit she doesn't know anything about anything!"
dat student discount tho. I was convinced after using it with ads for a few weeks and then found out about the student discount I got that shit immediately. delicious 320kbps.
You can listen to the sub 20 minute podcast about it: Ny Times The Daily - A Secret In the Navy Seals
https://www.iheart.com/podcast/326-the-28076606/episode/a-secret-in-the-navy-seals-30877179/
If the NYT is too liberal, maybe the navy times will be more trustworthy:
>Chief Special Warfare Operator Edward “Eddie” Gallagher not only stabbed to death a teenage wounded Islamic State prisoner of war during a 2017 deployment to Iraq, according to an officer in his chain of command, but the SEAL also called in “false target coordinates to engage a mosque," tried to push his platoon into pointless and potentially catastrophic firefights with insurgents and became so mentally unstable that he should’ve been relieved from duty but wasn’t.
-
>It was then, he said, that Gallagher announced he had killed the wounded detainee “in self-defense,” according to the proffer.
>The troop chief told prosecutors he was puzzled by Gallagher’s statement. He said SEALs do not consider a knife to be a “reasonable or advisable method of killing, given all the other weapons, including grappling and hand-to-hand combat that SEALs are trained to employ.”
>“Knife kills are virtually unheard of in the SEAL community,” the proffer states.
Due to the volume of posts before I caught this, I'm going to allow this topic to stay. However, we have already had many posts regarding this. Spotify gradually rolls out its updates so many users have had the new color for a while.
The color is part of their new branding and is unlikely to change. However, you can leave your feedback directly to Spotify via email or twitter.
That was probably the number one request I got from the last post. I ended up licensing some work to be used for that purpose and did a comprehensive package for James Teej - His album hasn't been released yet though so I didn't want to post it yet.
Unfortunately, a lot of bands have zero money, so it's hard to invest a lot of time in something for free :\
Bonjour /r/france !

https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-it-could-happen-here-30717896/ It actually just finished today. Evans does a really good job providing a decently unbiased examination of a possible second civil war.
Just shows how much comprehensive Sex Ed is absolutely needed in the US and still seriously lacking.
I recently listened to a podcast about the AIDS epidemic under the Reagan administration and the very unlikely hero of the whole saga was a very conservative Catholic doctor (Charles Everett Koop, who should genuinely be known and recognized as that of a global hero honestly) who was appointed Surgeon General and basically flipped the bird to the entire Republican party by disregarding all of their awful conservative/religious based so-called moral beliefs and provided the entire US with comprehensive Sex Ed (including the dirty bits) for a time (until the Republicans managed to squash it several years later).
Despite his own personal moral objections to many aspects of sexuality, he did the right thing, and not just the right thing, but he above and beyond level of right. He personally disapproved of many things that are now seen as perfectly normal by the majority of us today, but never let it impact his care or duty as a doctor, as a human being. He recognized that human beings are just that and nothing short of genuine compassion and care, even if you disapprove of someone's behaviour, actions or preferences, is unacceptable.
This whole digression is to just remind ourselves just how much the lack of proper education hurts our society in so many ways and just how much as a whole we benefit from de-stigmatizing some aspects of it.
Ideas that should be a shoo-in for a win here...
I'll get another /r/soundsvintage mix out the door, /u/kaptain_carbon will do another /r/vintageobscura mix.
This Business Wars podcast, Nintendo vs Sony - Part 1 is also worth a listen.

Apiarists regularly give bees sugar-water if there is not enough plant life around or it's too late in the season to artificially prop up bees. It's a fairly regular occurrence. Sysk did a pretty good podcast about bees and beekeeping if you're interested
It will be very interesting to see what happened, but check this out. Brad Pickett was on the OFT podcast on Sunday and when asked his opinion on the season he says it wasnt happening. Said he had a fighter tryout and its not going to happen. Mentioned DJ being unhappy, not sure if thats the reason but worth a listen. Listen at 43 minutes for when he says it. 38:50 for the start of the interview.
I think he's a pretty committed dude. I listened to him when he went on Louisville radio yesterday and i just can't believe how great of a dude he is. We are lucky to have Donovan. In fact found the audio. It’s the top episode here and Donovan starts around the 99 minute mark of that episode.

Holy fuck have I ever had it with right wing free speech martyrs. Spotify already editorialises their content. Which they have every right to do.
And Alex Jones has his first amendment rights to fuck right off and publish his lies on his own platform.
His lying does nothing to serve democracy, civil, cultural or social life. He's a vulture who feeds off he misery and paranoia of others and no moral organisation would help him do what he does.

This is what Taylor said when she was introducing CIWYW: "The way I feel the album is, as far as a storyline, is I feel like it starts with just getting out any kind of rebellion, or anger, or angst, or whatever. And then, like, falling in love, and realizing that you kind of settle into what your priorities are, and your life changes, but you welcome it because it's something that matters to you. And this last part of the album feels like settling into where I am now. So it started with where I was when I started making the album, and ends with kind of my emotional state now.” https://www.iheart.com/content/2017-11-10-taylor-swifts-iheartradio-reputation-release-party-everything-we-learned/ It’s not a timeline of events – it’s more of a timeline of her feelings about events. Even then I don’t think timeline is the right word because I think within each part of the album the songs might be arranged in the order they sound best, not necessarily the order they were written in.
This is not just a sales ploy. I have been hearing this for a while and it had been stepped up lately. Having Garber see Nippert in action first hand helped. If the Crew move to Austin in 2019 they would also be playing in a college venue. Berding also said tonight that FCC will build the the 2018 roster to win in the USL. If we get a MLS bid in December, they will start signing even higher calibre players they can take into a 2019 MLS season. So look at it like 2 pots. A giant pot of money to grab some big USL signings and a massive pot of money to grab impressive MLS signings. He also said they have watched Atlanta vs Minnesota MLS philosophy and have learned a lot. Berding tonight is here. https://www.iheart.com/podcast/Lance-McAlister-20799901/episode/lance-with-fc-cincinnati-general-manager-28589707/?cmp=web_share
Youtube isn't pro-nazi. It just figured out how to make a lot of money by promoting nazi content. The Behind the Bastard podcast just did a very insightful episode about the topic. Listen here.
What are you, a cop?
Lions of Rojava is pretty open that most foreign nationals deploying to Rojava fly into Suleymaniyah and then head northwest to the border. Often times, its a boat crossing at night. So, you can also a assume light arms and RPGs make it that way.
I believe Jordan Matson said there were like 27 gun trucks intended for the YPG that the KRG was holding at the border indefinitely and not letting them cross. If KRG would let those across, maybe folks would be less skeptical of the "Rojava Peshmerga" (Or more accurately the Barzani/KDP Peshmerga made up of Syrian Kurds). But maintaining a boycott and wanting to send in its own militia is very sketchy.
Here is the link. I'm on mobile so I can't do any fancy hyperlinking so sorry for the gigantic link.
Damn man. I listened to both of their stories today on StayTuned with Preet Bahara, it’s fucked up. Putin is a murderer.
