I used AZ Screen Recorder, literally the first suggestion when looking for screen recorders on Google Play.
No idea if it exist for iPhone, or if it's even possible to record your screen on iOS. It might be worth it just searching in the App Store :)
Get a screen recorder app. I don't think iOS has one. I personally use AZ recorder.
Find tweet with gif.
Open up your screen recorder.
Upload to Gyfcat.
AZ Screen Recorder would work for Android. Never had problems with it.
At this point I can't imagine any app for iOS can reliably do screens recordings on Snapchat, but I don't have an iPhone so I don't know.
Sure. I installed an app called AZ Screen Recorder on my Android phone, which allowed me to capture some game footage. Then I used another app, Gif Me Five, to turn a section of that video into a gif.
You can use a screen recorder like AZ Screen Recorder for example. Then just upload the video you recorded to gfycat.com. It'll automatically convert the video to a HTML5 video and give you a link, which you can then post to reddit. Only downside is that the video has to be under 15 seconds.
You could try AZ screen recorder it runs smoothly on my phone and it records the sound of the game, the screen itself + your voice (if you say something).
AZ Screen Recorder works much better for me. It's more versatile, customizable, and stable, plus it doesn't block the screen at all.
If you ever wish to record your screen, for example to post a theme on /r/androidthemes or to create a tutorial of sorts, AZ Screen Recorder works great. Requires Lollipop but not root.
No. However you can use a VM like bluestacks or install a screen recorder on your phone, screenshots will not be detected.
AZ screen recorder:
It doesn't requite root like a few of them do, and its free so that's cool. I've downloaded a few and personally it's my favorite
Download a screen recorder, (AZ Screen Recorder is imo the best in the PlayStore), record the replay and upload it in Gfycat.
I just searched "Screen Recorder" on Play Store. There are many Screen Recorder apps on Android. I just used the first one that showed up.
AZ Screen Recorder
I am using OP3T so it's not a Samsung features.
I used this app to record my screen and uploaded it to gyfcat.com to convert it to gif.
AZ Screen recorder is pretty decent. I have also used Mobizen. these won't record directly to your computer iirc, but you can save the file and transfer it to your computer.
I'm looking at downloading a screen recorder for android to help capture my travels
Edit: here is a test I just did
Edit: hereis a link to the app
I'm a fan of AZ Screen Recorder, it's pretty awesome. Has a nice interface, bunch of useful options and features, such as drawing on screen and trimming, plus, the developer is very, very helpful.
For Android, I've started using AZ Screen Recorder.
It's free, pretty easy to use, has some good post-recording edit features if you want them, and it doesn't take up a lot of overhead resources while it records. If you'd like, it allows you to record audio while recording video. I haven't yet tried to talk over an attack because I think I'd distract myself, but some of you might be better multi-taskers!
If you're android, ppl seem to like AZ Screen Recorder. It seems to work well (i've used it to record some of my rerolls as a test) and it does NOT require rooting, and it's free!
Hey! I used AZ Screen Recorder ([link]) then used the Giphy Mac app to record the video as a GIF. I know, long process, but it works.
You can use AZ Screen Recorder to record your game on Android and then use it to create a trailer. It doesn't need root only for devices with Lollipop, so if your device OS is lower than 5.0, you should probably use OBS.
Seeing that /u/DJMattB241 has already provided you with mini-tutorial that would be the easiest way to go in my opinion.
AZ Screen Recorder is one of the best apps there is.
PS: If this answers your query, please reply with "Solved". Thanks!
Hiya! On Android devices it looks like you may be able to use Google Play Games to record gameplay videos, view them after, and even upload direct to Youtube. The Nexus 7 here says it can store four hours of gameplay video at 720p, which is crazy. You could video your Hearthstone sessions that way and extract any screenshots you need from the videos, even.
If Google Play Games doesn't support this in your area, you could also try AZ Screen Recorder.
Get the AZ Screen Recorder from google play store, and you may wana try this tutorial on how to get the device audio instead of the mic. I will be trying it now too, shall see if it works! * w*)>
Play Games will record from anywhere, even your home screen. All you need to do is launch into a game with video recording, and then exit the app. It will save the video to local storage.
There are other apps such as AZ Screen Recorder, but I'm certain none of them, this one included, can record internal audio. The only way is to turn up the volume and use the mic.
I just want to give this app, AZ Recorder some props where it's due.
I didnt know how to make the demo video at first, was stuck on it for bit, then came across AZRecorder from reddit, of all places right. Ammazing app, check it out if you're not a videographer & need to make demo videos quickly :)
App Name: AZ Screen recorder - no root
Recorder screen video without rooting your mobile.
App Store Link:
Type (Paid/Free): Free
Android / iOS: Android
It has a built-in "to gif" button in the video editor, but it might be in the paid version if it (not entirely sure).
Yes, it's super useful! Makes it much easier to provide tech support! The app I use to screen record is AZ Screen Recorder <code>Play Store Link</code>, and then I upload the .mp4 file onto Gfycat.com using their app <code>Play Store Link</code>, and then get the link to that and put it in a comment :).
And as for karma, being upvoted gives karma. It's just like reputation or something, and isn't really a big deal on Reddit (though people can still get upset over it). And a hearty thanks was plenty, I appreciate it!
So something else you could try is going to your phone settings, then to your application manager (might just say apps), and pressing the menu to see the option for resetting default apps. You could then clear all of your browsers, Chrome, Boost, and others, and see if that fixes it.
I have had very good success with this app. No root required.
It can be a bit unintuitive, but you get the hang of how to use it fast.
Record iOS screen without a jailbreak: iRec or ShouTV from Emu4iOS
Record Android 5.0+ screen without root (below 5.0 root required): AZ Screen Recorder
Much better... I've spent quite a time looking and these are the best apps available.
EDIT: My method is also less (not at all) illegal.
AZ Screen Recorder. It requires at least Lollipop (5.0) to run, though, since it uses the native screen recording utility built into Android since that version.
For Android only:
I got AZRecorder from the Playstore and it's really easy to use and record.
Since it's going to be a video recording in MP4, I suggest to transfer it to your computer and find some online site to convert MP4 to GIF, if they allow you to set the frames or timespan (how long it's supposed to be) that's even better.
This is the one I used, it's not the best looking UI but it worked for what I needed.
I use AZ Screen Recorder without root on a Lollipop device (S6) and purchased the premium feature after a few days.
What I like
Usually I use it for bug reports of beta apps, so the quality and the sketch function is the most important for me
Ha, actually that's a new question.
I use az screen recorder to record it. If it is less than 10sec long, then I convert it to gif with that. If it's longer than 10sec than I upload to this website.
Looks like screen recording API is broken?
Can you try this app and see if you can record the screen? If that app causes the crash too, then it's a firmware issue.
Are you using Stock firmware?
I used the screen recorder recommended in the sidebar, AZ Screen Recorder. After that, I put the recording on my Macbook and used Final Cut Pro X to overlay the video on top of an image made using Screener.
I usually do a video-recording of my screen when playing Ranked, the quality does not have to be that high, so the vid does not eat up to much space.
When I loose, I try to look at the video right away, because I usually have a rough feeling where I made an error, and my thought process from the game is still there. It always amazes me what you see when looking at the game a second time, many things you just were not aware of or completely missed during the actual game.
I started with his method because I was playing a lot on my phone, where tracking software is not available. After I found AZ Screen Recorder I started with the videos.
I do not know if this is the most effective method, but it has helped me a lot.
App I used to record: [link]
This to edit (I typed in "video gif converter" and it was the first result): [link]
This one is fantastic, a hell of a lot of features. Not free, I'm afraid, but worth every penny: [link]
After you install and record something, it will ask you to install this plugin: [link]
I can play if needed.
Is there a 'sceen record' app for ios?
If not - an android player can record their matches pretty easily with for instance: [link]
AZ Screen Recorder, and I think this plugin. I know I had to pay for something for full functionality, but it was totally worth it. Cause you can record (with a number of handy settings), trim, crop, and convert to gif, all in the same app. I highly recommend it.
I used AZ Screen Recorder with the "Show touches" setting enabled to record the video. I then made a phone frame and background image using Screener. Next, I overlayed the video onto the phone frame, shortened it to 15 seconds, and added zoom effects using Adobe Premiere. Finally, I uploaded it to Gfycat, which converted it into a gif, which I posted to Reddit. If you want one of these, you can shoot me a message.
Not the simplest way to save videos. I end up having tk go through and re edit. But it saves from having to root your phone
Found something: [link]
from this one year old post. Hope this will work for you!
> When typing, if you try to long press—when moving the cursor—an opaque white bar obscures the magnifying glass. This looks like an Android Issue as the App ImmersivePlugin has the same flaw.
can you show it in action? YOu can use this for recording [link]
Also please use the i button in the editor for your system info.
I use AZ Screen Recorder - No Root on Android. But agreed, most don't bother. However, those that do bother will find it trivial to do.
Oh shoot! We lost it from the sidebar :( My apologies for not providing the source.
Let's see, have you tried this app
I highly recommend <strong>AZ Screen Recorder (No Root)</strong> if you're on Android 5.0 Lollipop or Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android N.
Not sure tho some have speculated that it's multiplicative stacking.
Up to you, depending on the content you're up against.
Honestly I can only really assist you for Point 1. I'll let 2 and 3 be covered by others.
what version on android do you have? If you have lollipop 5.0 or above you can record without root. AZ Screen Recorder is a great screen recorder for lollipop and above, it lets you change a lot of setting in the app
Yeah, I usually try to run rituals only when I have few coins. You're not getting both from me!
I used AZ Screen Recorder - No Root. Recorded and saved as image with that app. (free app, gotta pay to save as image but you can probably use something else to convert it) [link]
My GPS was, and always is, set to High Accuracy as well. Running on an LTE network in case this helps towards you proving/disproving this theory.
In regards to a screen recorder I'm not familiar with any but a quick google search
turned up this one. It claims no root, just downloaded it and it works like a charm.
Are you running normal android, or some manufacturer skin? Can you run any other apps which use screen capture api? for example [link]
On android I've gotten some strong recommendations for AZ Screen Recorder but have yet to try it. I'm not sure how to go about it on iPhone.
quick search on playstore give me this
If you are talking about native screen recording, I am not aware if that exist.
Great run man. I'm sure you already know where the video can be improved on but the easiest things you can fix are the popups and narration. Before that, AZ Screen Recorder is much better than Mobizen because it provides high quality screen recording without the watermark.
Anyways, all you have to do to remove notifications from showing in your video is to temporarily disable notifications from apps that have them. I don't know the specifics for each individual app but for Messenger, it's the first tab under the settings.
Narration is also really easy. All you have to do is record a separate audio file while watching the video yourself and put it on top of the video in any generic video editor. This is helpful because you're more focused on puzzling than on speaking when in game and you can provide much better commentary afterwards. Many people like to play music instead of speaking but that can take a lot of effort because you have to find a song that's the same length as the video and that also won't get you hit up with youtube copyright claims.
Finally, and this is a bit more complicated, if you want to cut some length out of your videos you can skip past the team introduction and put an image of your team out on the side of your videos instead. I'm sure there's a much easier way to do this but I use OBS's recording feature to lay out a window capture of a video player next to the image and then re-record the video of the run from there. This requires you to transfer the video file from your phone to a computer as well as cropping out a screenshot of your team and it really isn't too worth it but it does compress information on your run nicely. Example, it's on Mac but the same concept applies to any OS.
Thanks for the reply, I made a quick search and found that the app is actually called "AZ Screen Recorder", not "EZ".
By the way,I subbed to your channel and looking forward to watch more of your videos.
I will need a screen record because I really have no idea what the issue is. Use AZ Screen Recorder and upload the recording to gfycat, then reply with gfycat URL so I can see what the issue is.
I see, thanks for the effort. But iPhone actually interrupts the animation, which feels a little more responsive. Not that this matters in real world usage, but it sure gives a good impression.
As for recording, this is the best app I know.
I think most of them do the same thing (using some internal/system feature for the recording). AZ Screen Recorder has clean UI and no bloat.
Depends on your phone. If you have an Xperia, the it's part of Sony's built in features.
Otherwise, this is what I use:
AZ Screen recorder
I used this one, which was fine. No watermarks. That's not to say there aren't better ones out there, though.
This app called AZ screen recorder
It was recommended here
It just works. Really easy to use and install.
To record my screen I used AZ Screen Recorder and for gifs I used the website Imgflip but i really don't know much about making gifs. That was just the first website I found after a Google search
Can you show a video of it in action. What you are saying is highly unlikely.
Mark the first post as read by long pressing it. and then press the hide read button.
You can use this software to record the video : [link]
I downloaded the same one yesterday, looking forward to trying it out today. All my training videos I have are the wrong angle so need to get a good side on view. The only thing with BarSense is you can't export, so I've also downloaded AZ Screen Recorder; I only mention it in case you have the same issue!
if you are on android, there is a free app called AZ Screen record.. it works amazing, it records the screen and your voice so you can narrate tutorials and such as well... and well if you have iphone... ummm smh sorry. lol
Gives you better result than the AZ's own GIF generator: smaller, smoother. I paid for AZ but I stopped using the GIF part it's so bad. Without the GIF thing it's free btw. EZGIF.com is also free and very very powerful. Let's you manage and prepare your GIFs in the highest quality.
For Android, AZ Screen Recorder is pretty good. If you are using an Emulator, you can use the built in function, but I'd suggest OBS if you are using emulator.
It's called AZ Screen Recorder, I think I had to pay to get some features, but it was well worth it. It's so easy to record, trim, and convert to gif all in the same place, rather than having to use my phone's stock video editing BS and find some gif converter online. To upload to imgur, I share the gif (from within AZ recorder) to Open Imgur (which doesn't appear to be in the Play Store anymore), and when the upload completes, there's an easy "copy link" notification from Open Imgur.
...I sound like a fucking ad, but I really love that app combo. Before I had it, it was all but impossible for me to make and upload a gif on my phone. Not sure what happened to Open Imgur...I hate the official imgur app because I've never had success uploading gifs.
I have the Nvidia Shield Tablet, so it comes with its own recording software (and apparently streaming as well) - I just used that!
On my phone I use AZ Screen Recorder ([link]) and set the frame rate to 60 FPS.
AZ Screen Recorder (4.5 rating)
Screen Recorder - DU Recorder (4.7 rating)
Does anyone have experience with which one they prefer?
They’re very similar.
DU Recorder’s floating overlay is easily accessed to stop a recording.
It also might be less choppy than AZ, but it’s only based on a couple test videos.
AZ Screen Recorder is more popular.
You have to swipe down from the top notification area to stop the recording.
AZ Screen Recorder’s floating overlay is only for starting the recording.
The only thing that I don’t like about DU recorder is that using the floating overlay to stop the recording will put the overlay in the recording.
You can avoid it by using the option “hide record window” and “only use notification bar”, but then it’s not as convenient to stop.
Any way you could get something like this screen recorder and record what your doing and share it here? Might be something I'm missing...
AZ Screen Recorder so you can record. Upload the video to Gfycat and then submit it to this subreddit.
That was recorded with AZ Screen Recorder the function is built in. Really simple to use app with great output options.
To record on phone, use this:
I've been using it to record all my ascensions on my phone. I might upload them sometime if I get a chance.
Yeah that's what I wanted to see.
See if you can using this app and uploading it to vid.me or if you have a yt channel.
mobizen w/ root makes SW close saying you have an unauthorized program.
Lately i've been using AZ Screen Recorder
No i am not able to replicate it. Can you send a video of the bug in action?
Also what is your android version? And are you using the latest version of Joey?
You can use this app to record the video : [link]
I use a screen recorder called AZ Screen Recorder to record my screen. After recording the video, I copy the file to my PC and if there is any need, I edit it. Then I just upload the video to gfycat.com. It'll automatically convert the video to a HTML5 video and give you a link, which you can then post to reddit. Only downside is that the video has to be under 15 seconds.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I'm using a Note 3, running Ωmega RΩM (LP 5.0). I had the same issue on another lollipop rom as well.
I used this app to record the screen. I then uploaded it to Gyfcat.
I just tried closing all apps, but, unfortunately it still happened.
I don't have Lux either. The only app I have to draw on the screen is messenger. Disabling it didn't have any effect unfortunately.
For anyone wondering. I used AZ Screen Recorder for the recording.
I'm running a Note 3, lollipop 5.0 Ωmega RΩM.
I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling, and same thing happens.
Running version 7.9.24
Can you please show a video of what you are trying to do?
You can use this app to record [link]
I am not able to reproduce the bug.
Do you mean for streaming then? Otherwise i would recommend AZ Screen Recorder if your Phone/talet can handle it.
Its free and can record in the most common resolution (also 60fps). We use it for our trailers! :-)
I just used AZ Screen Recorder, uploaded the video to YouTube and then brought that youtube video over to gfycat. I'm sure there's an easier, faster way but I haven't found it.
On Android, you need something like AZ Screen Recorder and then you can upload the video to YouTube. Not sure on iOS.
Connect your audio jack to your computer during recording the video so you can record the audio via your microphone in or audio in line using a free program like Audacity.
If you need a screen recorder, I recommend this: [link]
It works on any Android device running Android 5.0 Lollipop or more recent without root. If you happen to have an older version of Android BUT you're also rooted, use ADV.
If you use a Galaxy S6/7/Insert recent Samsung device here, use their game App instead.
If you use a Sony XPeria this functionality is built - in and you don't need to download anything.
Use "Shou" if you want to stream your plays too. Do bring a battery bank and make sure you have stable LTE plus an UNLIMITED data plan if you want to do that. Same conditions apply: 5.0 and more recent don't need root access, 4.4.4 and older do.
If Niantic so chooses, it will also be possible to record footage straight from Play Games.
If you use an iPhone, you can't do any of this, basically unless you keep your phone plugged in to your Mac all the time, I'm afraid. There used to be some homebrew screen recording apps that installed outside of the App Store through an exploit but I've moved to Android recently so I don't really know whether they really work. What I do know, Apple has been doing their best to take them down. And even if you happen to install it you're not done yet, Apple can ban it any second and it plain will refuse to open. Moved to Android when Apple began pulling this on the homebrew community.
This is quite interesting bug, as STICKY posts are no different from the normal posts.
Can you please post a video of it in action, as I am not able to reproduce this bug on my end.
You can use this app for recording [link]
