I am absolutely loving timbre. It's pretty much the first audio/video editor that actually works. And it's fucking gorgeous. And it's completely free! (no IAPs, no ads)
Seriously, give it a shot if you haven't already :)
It's open source, it has everything I need, and the community loves it.
Also the dev is pretty active on /r/bitwarden.
I use bitwarden as my password manger, I haven't looked at last pass in a while but when I did, I didn't like it. Bitwarden is simplified has firefox and chrome extensions and others and syncs between them all and has an app
A sensor is probably loose. With a $12 bluetooth OBD-II reader and the Torque app, you can pull the code(s) to find out which sensor it is. Then with 5 minutes of googling you can locate the sensor and make sure it's connected properly.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Timbre. It's a free (ad-free/no-iap!) and absolutely gorgeous audio/video editor. It has been all over /r/androidapps this past week.
Shoutout to /u/iamxeus for making such an incredible app
I have an app on my phone called Fabulous. Once you set it up you can create different "rituals" for yourself throughout the day. These rituals include whatever habits you want to create, like drink more water or exercise. I used to be very lazy but this app is actually really good. You just have to make sure you don't ignore the ritual notifications.
Edit: Sorry I didn't realize it was android only, but here's the link on the Google Play Store
Or spend $20 on an OBDII scanner that pairs to your phone, with a free app to read the codes.
This way, anything 1996 or newer (except for some exotic cars) can be read without having to jump on one foot backwards while humming the star spangled banner and cycling the ignition 5 times.
Someone recommended Timbre last time and I am absolutely loving it. It's a music/video editor app for cutting/joining/converting/changing bitrate etc. And it's absolutely gorgeous. And it's free.
Definitely worth checking out :)
Yes, you can stream shows and music without your data plan being charged if you are using the wifi. Basically, if you have wifi at your home, you phone can be set to auto-connect to that wifi, and only download certain stuff via wifi. That saves a large amount of data.
In order to track how much data you are using, and which apps are using the most data, something like [Android/Apple] this can help.
I think this is the play store link for Android, and this is the link for iOS.
I'm looking for a video editor that does basic actions like cutting, joining, adjusting speed. I don't need filters and effects. Open Source would be great.
I'm basically looking for Timbre but without subscription or ads.
Incidentally, there's a Rick and Morty Pokemon-style game called Pocket Mortys. (Instead of collecting Pokemon, you collect Mortys from other dimensions.)
Are you on a de-googled rom or rooted device? Your screenshot is what I have using brave on a firestick 4k.
>I have so many logins I’m forgetting them and locking myself out
Get Bitwarden to manage your passwords, then you'll only need to remember 1 password. Available for all mobile platforms and desktop web browsers. And the best thing about it is it's free. Android | iOS
As for time management, I'd go with the higher-paying apps/sites first. If any of the lower-paying ones have sign-in bonuses or the like, I'd at least get those done. Then I'd use the lower-paying ones only if the higher-paying ones are being fruitless at the moment. That's my 2 cents.
OBDII Bluetooth Scanner, and an app like this one.
I don't but you can buy one that works with your phone and a smartphone app that reads it for pretty cheap.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torquefree&hl=en
And you're sure you're not rooted? Try this app to double check.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freeandroidtools.safetynettest&hl=en
It's very unlikely, but your device could have been tampered with. You might also want to try a root checker.
I used this APK I downloaded it it using the APK Downloader extension for chrome I installed it on my shield and it asked if I wanted to upgrade using the APK, which I did, and it proceeded to install fine. I don't see an option for Application layout, like I do on the phone, however I'm assuming that's because it only offers one layout for the shield, It looks fine to me.
As someone who has had terrible insomnia most if my life, I have developed some strategies.
I keep all electronics out of my bedroom, it's only for sleeping, except for my Kindle Paperwhite, which uses a different system than other devices in that it doesn't shoot blue light into your eyes. I have an evening ritual that I complete at the same time every night, thanks to great app called Fabulous, ending with reading on my Paperwhite in bed until I fall asleep. I find this works much better than trying to go screen free at bedtime. You can aldo send articles to Kindle to read later. I find this helps especially for longer articles.
I have a Fabulous ritual for morning as well that includes meds, breakfast, exercise. Getting up at the same time every day is more important than going to sleep at the same time, though both are helpful. If you have something good to look forward to each morning its a lot easier.
Fabulous does a bit of gamifying that makes it work. You get points for consistency and unlock new challenges.
I still stay up sometimes, but it's gotten way more consistent. My bedroom is also dark, cool, and quiet, and I have an old phone that runs my sleep sounds to a Bluetooth speaker.
Look up sleep hygiene if you want to learn more. Also Fabulous is a great app for generally developing better habits.
Have fun with nofapnovember :p
Just kidding. T-mobile will not install spyware on your device so you don't have to worry about that. It is true that software like that exist but I highly doubt your mom went to the trouble of installing it. If you really want to be sure, try downloading safetynet test. This will check if you are still running the official software. If you pass this test your device is protected. I'm sure your mom is just bluffing.
EDIT: use a more informative title in the future.
I actually agree. It's pleasing to the eye, but it sucks to look at for a long time. It's boring. It's like how almost everyone will agree that those sparkling white houses with immaculate furniture that you see in magazines are nice houses, but they would be awful to live in. I don't think we need to swing all the way back to "ALL SLIDERS TO MAXIMUM" look Vista had, but I don't like the flat look everything has now. Material design is a good in-between, but even then it takes skill to make it work. The app Fabulous does a superb job of this. It preserves the clean look of minimalism, while adding the flair and character that more baroque design theories had.
>Also, why is their web site so deceptive? There is no mention of pay until after you sign up and download
So um.....what do you think "Free" and "Premium" options are? Variations of that table are on a lot of pages, including the main features page. Or what "Free Functionality" and "Full Functionality" are? Like, sure, it could be clearer, but it's far from deceptive (and most of what they offer is free anyway).
I'm also not sure whether you're talking about mobile apps or PlexPass features or even mistaking a free feature as a paid one though (since that happens a lot).
Have your tried to do a safety net check? You can find many apps on the GPlay (e. g. this), this could point you to a possible cause
Did you try Plex? Here is the Quick guide.
Set up Plex on your PC. Select folder. Install Plex on your smartphone. Now you will be able to stream video from your PC.
Have your meds at your bedside and set an alarm to take them about an hour before you have to get up.
As ADHDers, we are most motivated by enjoyment. So having something enjoyable to do when you first wake up, something you look forward to, is key!
Adopting a morning routine via Fabulous has made getting up much easier for me!
Another thing that has helped me is that for quite some time I've been motivated to get up because of tasks in my game that need to be done by a certain time. I have to get up and fight in the guild war or I'm letting my team down.
This only works because I leave my phone in the living room and don't take it to bed with me! Doing this has also helped me sleep better so I have more morning energy and it's easier to get up since I'm not tired from staying up late.
I also recommend reading up on sleep hygiene to find out how to be an expert sleeper!
Best of luck!
Spend a few dollars (less than 10) on a Bluetooth ELM327 reader from eBay. If you have an Android phone then all you'll need is to plug it into the port, pair it with your phone and use this app Torque Lite to read the error code yourself.
Fabulous- This app guided me through nearly all of my habits. I would say this is ranks the highest but honestly, Fabulous is in a whole different league
If you have an Android phone or tablet then the Torque app and a Bluetooth adapter may be your cheapest option.
Another much better app: Boats for Voat
So what you need is a non-custodial wallet - the one I linked is that. There are others too. On Android, langerhans' wallet is completely free of any corporate infrastructure in the middle and last time I checked someone here was working on a new iOS wallet - though I have not received the launch party invite to date, so I'm not sure where they're at with that.
~~So I would recommend checking if your phone passes SafetyNet with a safetynet checker like this one. If it doesn't pass, that could be the problem.~~
~~By installing Magisk SafetyNet is bypassed, and the app won't know that you have tinkered with your device. This means your device also gets rooted of course~~~~
Edit: check comment below, I'm probably wrong
You need to install the Android App and can set up Auto-fill login.
There is. I don't use them but I know a lot of people do. Boats for Voat is for Android and Voatify is for iOS
Voat has an app because its third party.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpaceMonkey.Boats

Voat's had a lot of their stuff banned and their store closed. The same BS as everyone else, PayPal taken away with money stolen and a fair amount of other BS. So now the site is being funded with Crypto currency.

Voat's third party image host literally had someone upload child porn then report them to the hosting provider.
I've been telling everyone to check out the app Fabulous for habit development. It's really helped me!
This. You don't need to sleep less to get more done. Being tired wrecks your productivity. Even during finals time, I make sure to get 7 hours a night, but when I can, I try for 9 hours. I'm a grad student. It's possible.
Edit: One thing that really helped me get a regular schedule was the Fabulous app (Android, iOS). Get some morning rituals (drink water, stretch, cook breakfast, etc.) that you do everyday.
So in case anyone hasn't seen this yet on /r/android, Pocket Mortys is now a thing. In case you needed help wasting more time at work while it's still the offseason.
Have you tried Plex? Basically you have to set up a "Plex server" on your computer and then use the app on your mobile to view/listen to the content. I guess this is might suit your needs
Unified Remote is what you're looking for. But as others have said, it's likely better to install Plex Home Theater and use the native remote Plex makes for it.
Why not just use BitWarden to store your passwords, which has a fairly robust password generator that can auto-populate new entries into your database as you make them?
Just use a password manager. Can recommend Bitwarden.
have you tried searching the subreddit? is your phone rooted?
download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freeandroidtools.safetynettest&hl=en
see where your phone fails and fix it.
https://www.amazon.com/Panlong-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Android/dp/B00PJPHEBO
I use the free version of an app called Torque.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torquefree
You have to pair your phone to the dongle just like you would a pair of headphones.
There are several, this one connects directly with Voat's APIs so even when the site has "gone down" it's still worked.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpaceMonkey.Boats
I got a bluetooth odb2 reader maybe 8 years ago.

Torque app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torquefree&hl=en_US
Bitwarden is an open source password manager with TOTP built in. 2 very useful features in 1 app!
It also has cloud backup and sync built in.
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x8bit.bitwarden
What do you mean? I just use BitWarden to cover all my passwords across all browsers and on Android, PC etc in general. I'd recommend that over another browser actually. Free, open-source and security audited, and there's a subreddit where the Devs are active on. Personally to me, the best one out there.
Oh yeah, there are lots of them too. This is the one I picked up (one of the cheaper units) and it hasn't failed me yet, save for needing to unplug and plug it back in once in a great while. So, the adapter coupled with the Torque app gives you all of the feedback that an AP can give you.
Edit: I'll be leaving for work in about an hour and if you'd like, I can take a short video of the tablet in my XT on start-up. It really is a neat app and probably the most useful mod I've done to my Forester.
Timbre can do all of that, and a bit more. It works really great.
Pokemon Revolution Online, a Pokemon MMORPG. And a pretty damn good one.
In the same vein, Pocket Mortys.
Most mobile turn-based pvp games are card games. Maybe try out good ol' Hearthstone.
I use core, my ledger or paper, smaller amounts in core bigger amounts on ledger or paper If you want to create you paperwallet in a safe and secure way is her a guide
https://cryptoms.online/2018/01/20/how-do-i-put-my-bitcoins-in-a-cold-storage/
Otherwise if on the move i use an dogecoin wallet app for android but remember only small amounts, do to security.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.langerhans.wallet
Go here to access your account, you'll need your email address and password as expected.
You'll see your data usage when you login, I've also been using My Data Manager and have found it pretty accurate. :)
I just checked on my Chromebook Pro with developer mode enabled, using the SafetyNet Test app, and my device passes.
Spend a few bucks on a code reader:
https://smile.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-34t5-Bluetooth-Android/dp/B005NLQAHS/
and the torque app is free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torquefree&hl=en
it can clear the codes too w/o pulling battery cables.
Can you use google location history on your phone to demonstrate to lyft that your phone everyday started at your house and ended at your house and followed the route of your car?
https://www.google.com/maps/timeline
"My data manager" on my phone also tracks me indirectly by showing where I used data: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobidia.android.mdm&hl=en
Also hey u/lyft, what can /u/WWJLYFT do to demonstrate he was the driver?

I just begun trying this app. It has the right tone and it is very well made. It helps with creating habits, starting with small steps.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.thefabulous.app
I've been there, for a long, long time. Longer than I might care to admit. Here's the kicker, though - exercise will help with your depression, and with the lack of motivation; losing weight will help with the motivation and make it easier to exercise. It is a stupid hen-egg situation.
So.. what I did was start slow. Install an app on your phone to remind you of important habits - walk 30 mins a day, drink water instead of soda, and so on and so on - there are a million apps that can do that just fine. (healthmonth or fabulous or whatever. Those are the two I tried, and I liked - nice design, nice ideas and sometimes a motivational quote or two)
Read about what works and what doesn't - the /r/loseit FAQ is very, very good, as is the /r/fitness FAQ and the /r/xxfitness one too, but keep your goals manageable; you don't want to do too much and lose motivation. Steady habits do way more for you than giving up after a week or two.
This is the second most beautiful app I've ever seen, (No. 1 being Fabulous: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.thefabulous.app)
With some more features it will be the best reddit app, you should be extremely proud of yourself.
We don't have any sort of native app that would be able to do that. But since our device runs on Android you get access to the Google Play store, and here is an app that may be able to assist with monitoring your data usage https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobidia.android.mdm&hl=en
Just a side note, the Live TV does not use an internet connection so that would not go against you.
A: And /r/IgnorantImgur, and /r/forwardsfromgrandma, /r/techsupportmacgyver, /r/Cynicalbrit, /r/montageparodies.
Loads of subreddits you know you could just create with all the people that are on voat you will have big content in no time... oh wait it takes 3 upvotes to reach voat's front page.
B: lol even I know that voat has an android app and I don't even use it.
I'm actually kind of surprised you would want to go to a site that is full of KiA, /r/Conspiracy and /r/FPH people.
Is there an app? I need an app...
Edit: apparently there's a decent android app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SpaceMonkey.Boats looks to be the "copy" of redditisfun, which was easily the best reddit app. I might just make the switch since most of my browsing was on mobile.

i use My Data Manager. Android Wear shows up as an app and that's what is downloading all of the stuff to your phone. In the first day, I saw that the Moto downloaded like 200mb worth of stuff through my phone's connection. After that, it barely breaks 5-10mb a day.
For routines: "Fabulous: Motivate Me!"
The Fabulous is a great app that I just discovered! It allows you to create a morning, evening and night time routine, and it allows you to check off each one. It also allows you to set timers for your routines, and guesstimate how long each step will take you. Great app with high ratings.
Some coinbase wallet people hang on r/dogecoindev sometimes. I miss this feature (sweep paper wallet) too. The only 2 softwares that I have that can do it is u/langer_hans' android wallet and the block_io sweep command line stuffs. Both will not expose your keys to the outside but just use it to sign locally
Probably not the ideal solution, but you could use an app like Timbre to combine the files of two songs into one file. Only thing is is that you're going to have to edit the tags of the newly created file to get it to fit into your music collection correctly.
The broken version is 8.25.028473. If you're not in the beta then you may have a different problem. You can login to your google account and go to the play store to see if it says beta there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexapp.android
If you're running a device using a custom rom, degoogled services, rooted device then of this moment that device won't be compatible with brave rewards. A while ago I read they are looking into this and possibly some kind of "fix" but I don't know where that's at. One other thing to look into is something called magisck if your device is rooted. I don't know if it actually works with rewards though but magisck is another way to root android but not change the bootloader or the rom or anything that would trip up SafetyNet which is used to test your device - If this test fails, your device definitly won't work for brave rewards...
>* Bitwarden: An open-source free password manager. Syncs through all the devices.
Is it better than 1Password? If so, why? Always used 1Pass but I'm open to new suggestions
If it's the doge android app, try to install it again and import the keys. I used the app in 2014 (don't think it was there in 2013).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.langerhans.wallet
If it asks for a password, then... well... you're screwed.
It's the Dogecoin Wallet app from Dogecoin Wallet from langerhans:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.langerhans.wallet&utm_source=global_co&utm_medium=prtnr&utm_content=Mar2515&utm_campaign=PartBadge&pcampaignid=MKT-AC-global-none-all-co-pr-py-PartBadges-Oct1515-1
After a quick research I found out that pkm go works on android 5.1.1. I think your problem is that you're rooted.
Download this app and send me the result to be sure.
Don't you still have to have Plex Pass (or buy the app) to stream to a mobile device?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexapp.android&hl=en_US&gl=US
> Note: Playing media from your Plex library on mobile devices is limited (one minute for music and video, watermark on photos) until the app is unlocked. For full functionality, get a Plex Pass -OR- make a small, one-time, in-app purchase for app access.
Not saying it isn't worth it, but it isn't free for OP's use case.
I use a Vgate ELM327 Bluetooth-based adapter (cheap blue eBay adapter) on an Android phone running Torque.
As those adapters are produced and sourced from random suppliers I'd do my research before choosing one: people like Scotty Kilmer are iffy about using any inexpensive OBD2 adapter.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freeandroidtools.safetynettest&hl=en
use this to find out what the problem is
There this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.thefabulous.app
However, as you already know. You can set all these reminders all you like, but the other half of the process of just doing it is down to you.
Torque Lite (needs a Bluetooth ODB ELM32 connector)
Volume management app
A turn by turn GPS app Like Co-Pilot.
A task managment app that will tie into other apps like Tasker and ITTT so you can do voice managment.
A Mobile Data Usage Managment app to block unauth access and choke background data usage.
NO SOCIAL NETWORK APPS.... PERIOD. Use a browser. You will save a ton of bandwidth.
For what is worth, there's an official game for Rick and Morty called Pocket Mortys which is a parody of sorts of Pokemon, where you collect different Mortys to battle each other and their weaknesses and strengths aren't water, fire, wind or what have you, but ROCK/PAPER/SCISSORS instead. It's kind of brilliantly stupid.
For those unaware (the 3 of you) there is a Rick and Morty "Pokémon" game on mobiles that is pretty ok
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.turner.pocketmorties&hl=en
MyDataManager is another option, but unlike Glasswire it collects information about you, so I prefer GlassWire.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobidia.android.mdm&hl=en
No, Opera is a web browser. So you're probably watching Plex in a web browser. Go to the google app store and see if you can install the Plex app on your TV: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexapp.android
This assumes your Sony TV is running Android (like mine is). If so, log into your google account on the TV and the above link (when opened on your computer) should list your TV as a device where you can install the Plex app.
If that Plex app is already installed on your TV, then the Opera browser might be launching that Plex app, but to be certain, open the Plex app directly and don't use Opera.
Between mid-2014 and mid-2015, I used an app called My Data Manager to loosely keep track of apps I used. I didn't use it for data (unlimited Wifi, hardly ever used mobile data), just for whatever apps were in foreground.
Some time before I stopped using it, an update to it arrived that, instead of keeping track of the events in plaintext files in /sdcard/mdm/facetime, used an SQLite database in its app directory that I couldn't easily decipher. I didn't like how it did reports; I don't remember if it was the layout, the font/size, the whitespace, or what.
So I eventually wrote my own, using Tasker's %WIN variable, making it robust enough to only write an entry if %WIN is still the same 5 seconds later (i.e. avoid flapping writes) with a backup plan in case Tasker got killed and came back (an every 2 minute profile checks for untracked change).
Edit: Thinking back, I think it was a combination of colors (I'm pretty sure it was dark-themed when I first started using it) and the infantilization of reports (it kept track of a lot of data that wasn't surfaced in any of its reports).
Try this tool. If it fails, then you need to resolve whatever is causing SafetyNet to fail.
If it passes, come back and let us know.
If you are on Android and want to eliminate SafetyNet as a possible cause of the problem, you can install SafetyNet Test from the Play Store and see if your device passes it.
Your car should be a bit on the newer side, right? At least after '96?
Should have an OBD2 port, buy a cheap Bluetooth module (I've got this one from Amazon $11) and an app for your smartphone, I've got Torque for Android(Torque on iOs isn't made by the same producer, mind) the lite version is free, and will let you set up "mini dashboards" on the app. The paid app adds other functionality. Plenty of other apps for OBD2 as well. Of course this all assumes that it is the guage that is broken, and not the fuel sensor itself. But at least it's a chance to remove future head aches, among other body parts...
My Samsung Note has built in screen recording software "for games" so I told it my reddit app was a game and then recorded "gameplay" of the video playing. I have a decent all purpose audio utility app (Timbre) to rip the audio from the video (and trim it a little).
You could always just Google the file type...
https://www.howtogeek.com/200736/what-is-an-mkv-file-and-how-do-you-play-them/
You could try using VLC player to make the playback faster or you can try converting the file into something more mainstream like mp4. use Timbre if you're.going to convert
Ok, yes, I believe you are wrong.
Simply unlocking your bootloader should trigger a Safetynet fail on every current Android kernel. You don't actually need to modify anything and you don't need to root. All that matters is that you could have modified the system at some point. See here for example.
Have you checked if your device still passes the Safetynet Test? I'm reasonably certain that it won't, with all of the negative consequences.
I can't speak from experience but going from all the information I found, the standard way of relocking one's bootloader does not work for current Huawei devices: "fastboot oem lock" doesn't do the trick according to just about any ressource on the Internet. So I'd be interested in your tool that supposedly can do this.
Are you talking about the old SRK Tool? Or something else?
If so, does the SRK Tool really still work with Kirin 970 devices, I though development had stopped. Were you really able to unlock your bootloader without requesting an unlock code from Huawei in any way, shape or form? If you still need the unlock code, what on earth is the tool for, you can simply do it via fastboot?
Get an OBDII Bluetooth Dongle and the Torque app.
